How to use it

  1. Enter your current monthly rent in lira.
  2. Choose the month your lease is renewed.
  3. The legal ceiling and your highest possible new rent appear at once.
  • If your contract sets a lower rate, that rate applies; the ceiling can never be exceeded.
  • In leases older than five years the rent may be set anew on equitable grounds (Turkish Code of Obligations, art. 344).
